Leduc cake smash photographer

I just love cake smashes! 1 year olds are so much fun. They are on the go and their personalities just shine through.

It's always great to see return clients, and it was neat to see how much N had grown since his last time in the studio for a Christmas mini session. We started off with some portraits in an 'all dressed up' outfit that his mama brought along. He loved sitting on the soft fur and gave us some big smiles! Doesn't he have the greatest sparkling blue eyes!

Next he changed into his cake smash outfit! I provide a basic diaper cover and bow tie as part of the session, but N's mama went all out and came with a custom sewn outfit for him to wear. Also in the set is a vintage Tonka dump truck that my husband played with when he was little!

N wasn't so sure about the cake, but his big sister came along to watch and was able to get some smiles out of him. I'm sure he will enjoy some cake at home without the pressure of performing for the camera!

Lastly, we filled up the tub for the 'splash' part of the cake smash. He really wasn't to happy being in the water, but we quickly took a few images and then he was dried up and all happy again!

If you book a cake smash session, it comes with three set ups. We do regular portraits, then a cake smash, and finally a 'splash' bubble bath session. Everything is provided except for the cake (due to potential allergies) but I can give a list of bakeries that I have used in the past. I provide basic colour coordinated decorations, but if you are interested in a particular theme we can arrange that as well!
