Breton Cake Smash Photographer
I love doing cake smashes and was even more excited since I had the opportunity to use a new backdrop and some decor. The floral hoops are trending right now and are the perfect addition to a little girl's first birthday cake smash photo session. I always coordinate all the set ups for the session so that the images will look good together in an album or on a wall gallery.

We began with some images of baby B and her big brother, R. He just loved his sister and we got some adorable images. Her face would light up every time he came into the room! I just love this rustic grey barnwood backdrop and use it for many of my sessions.

Next we moved over to the solid grey and did some images of just B alone, as well as a family image. Family and sibling images are included in every cake smash if you wish! She wasn't walking yet, but was pulling herself up so we made sure to document this important stage of her development.

I always like to do some images of the cake smash decor without the cake. B really enjoyed playing with the balloons! I provided most of the decor; B's parents just cake with her adorable outfit that they had custom made for her.

Isn't the smash cake beautiful!? I just love the simple design and the flowers are so gorgeous. I hope to offer more smash cakes like this in the future and I am partnering with a baker to provide the cakes if you wish, so you don't have the hassle of picking it up. Of course, you can always provide your own if you prefer or have special dietary restrictions!

Finally we ended the session with a bubble bath. Most babies just love the bubble bath, but B, not so much! Her mom cleaned her up quickly and took some time for snuggles and a feed.
