Calmar Photographer Spring Session

I love seeing familiar faces back in the studio and it was a pleasure seeing the K family again. Their little guy had grown so much since the last time I saw them for their Christmas session, and it was so fun seeing him move around and explore! It's amazing how much little ones develop between 8 and 10 months.

The family was looking for some spring themed images of their two kids. We started off with a simple set up for both L and his big sister K. The barn wood backdrop is a new one for me so I was excited to use it for this session.

I love fun props, but it is nice too when the kids are the center of attention in the images!

With fast moving kids, having them lay on their backs is a great way to have them stay still for the 2 seconds I need to take the image!

The kids were behaving so well so we had plenty of time to add another backdrop. I switched to a white seamless paper and we did some more portraits. I love the timeless look of a plain white backdrop.
